The idea of the growth mindset comes from a book written by a Stanford researcher Carol Dweck. The book’s title is “Mindset — The new psychology of success.” It basically claims that the mindset can significantly affect the action at hand.

Neuro-plasticity is the idea that the brain changes over time as opposed to being a fixed lump of muscle. From wiki: it refers to changes in neural pathways and synapses due to changes in behavior, environment, neural processes, thinking, emotions, as well as changes resulting from bodily injury.
